Welcome to
Medina College
Brief History
In June 1963, Dr. Rico Macan Medina Sr. and his wife, Dr. Beatriz Crisostomo Medina, founded the Medina School of Midwifery in Ozamiz City as the first private Midwifery School in this part of the country.
The post-Martial Law years saw the school consistently growing to such unprecedented proportion so that the school embarked on a massive expansion program of physical facilities to accommodate the large population and to cope with the demands of modern education. Thus, a new two-storey school building in Barangay Maningcol was then constructed.
In June 1983, The Medina Foundation College in Sapangdalaga, Misamis Occidental was opened; in June 1999, Medina College, Pagadian City was also established in Barangay Bulatoc, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur; and in 2001, Medina College Ipil, Inc. was founded in Don Adres, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay Province.
Currently, Medina College continues its excellent service to provide quality education in Northern Mindanao and its neighboring places.

Medina College Hymn
As we search for our education,
We shall find at Medina we all love
For her aims are so great and boundless,
Her foundation is Christian love.
We are pinning our inspiration
On the college that guides us to success
So the people will know we’ve come from
Medina College we all adore.
We’ll fight, and fight, unite and fight
To win this game for her
We’ll fight, and fight, with all our might
To uphold her dignity.
We shall honor our alma mater
Wheresoever we may drift apart,
For wherever we are in glory
She has shared our victory.
